In the above video, we have Brother H. Rap Brown discusses the hypocrisies of the American Political System, Capitalist Thought, and the Criminal Justice System. In this video there are multiple correlations to issues that we are facing going into this very 2018 Mid-Term Election Season, and much of what we have seen happen over the last ten years. Are we allowing those who Speak Out and Stand Up (or kneel) to be demonized and marginalized the same way that the media Malcolm X, Muhammad Ali, and Adam Clayton Powell in the 1960s? We must control the messaging wars and educate the masses on our own. Organize and Teach. Proper political education and mobilization is vital to our survival; and can no longer be ignored. While we were never truly free, whatever freedoms we have enjoyed will be taken away from future generations, if we don’t come up with a Unified Plan and execute it without compromise. It is time for a revolution of the oppressed…
“What better way to enslave a man, than to give him the vote and call him free.”
Again, it’s one thing to vote-but what exactly are we voting for? What changes will be enacted positively for us?
“The vote has been used as a tool of oppression against Black People…”
